Terra Kulture is a Nigerian Arts & Culture Centre set up to promote the wealth and diversity of Nigerian Culture, language & Arts.
Terra Kulture provides Nigerians and foreigners alike the opportunity to learn about our culture and languages. This we do through our language school, boutique, bookshop/library, gallery, restaurant and multipurpose hall.
At the Language School, interested individuals are taught the three major Nigerian languages. Upon completion of each level, accreditation is given to students. Craft, tie and dye and cookery classes are also held regularly in the language school.
The Boutique stocks attires from renowned Nigerian designers, local fabrics and fashion accessories.
Our Bookshop has current books on Nigeria; fiction and non-fiction, contemporary journals and magazines. A reading centre with wireless internet facilities and flat screen computers is also available for use.
The Terra Kulture Gallery showcases the best of Nigerian art from renowned Nigerian artists such as Bruce Onobrakpeya, Yusuf Grillo and many others. Thematic exhibitions and art auctions focusing on the diversity of Nigeria are also held on a scheduled basis. In addition, the gallery provides support to upcoming Nigerian artists.
The Terra Kulture Restaurant gives our esteemed clients the opportunity to enjoy the best of continental and Nigerian dishes in a cosy atmosphere.
Lastly, our Multi-Purpose Hall is a 250-seater venue with facilities for drama presentations, conferences, seminars etc. In line with our mission, preferences and subsidies are given to artists and art related causes.
